THE ADDAMS FAMILY MUSICAL
Book by Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice
Music and Lyrics by Andrew Lippa
Based on characters created by Charles Addams
This summer, step into the spotlight with Redline Theatre Company’s Summer Theatre Camp production of The Addams Family Musical!
Designed for high school student performers of all experience levels, this six-week intensive blends professional training, collaboration, and pure creative fun. Students will work with theatre professionals to build confidence, strengthen performance skills, and learn the art of ensemble storytelling.
From ensemble to lead roles, students will receive the same training and opportunities to shine. Every student who enrolls will receive a role by audition. In other words, once you are registered for the show, you are in the show. Then, we audition each student to decide where they should be placed in the cast.

UPDATED Conflict Policy
5
Conflicts with Performances or Tech week are not allowed, more than 3 rehearsal conflicts may affect casting.
Last-minute, preventable conflicts (i.e. finals week, scheduled doctors appointments, transportation planning, etc) not disclosed until after casting will result in being asked to not audition for future Redline productions.
Unsure about potential conflicts? We want to help. Please send us an email and we will try to find a plan that ensures you can make it to rehearsal and be successful in this show.
UPDATED Rehearsal Structure
6
This year, we are adding rehearsals on Fridays. Students will not always be called to the full rehearsal on Friday. Fridays will be used to provide small group and individual instruction, so students may be called to just part or none of Friday via our Daily Call schedule. Students/ parents are still expected to keep this timeframe open in their schedules, whether or not they will be called that week.
All cast members will be called to the entirety of rehearsals on Monday - Thursday. On these days, we will prioritize full group or large group instruction, mixed with some student-led small group or individual work time. We aim for 80% direct instruction / 20% individual work or student-led time. This model teaches our students greater independence in their practicing technique and allows for collaboration and independent character development to emerge. Students will be provided with practice tracks, characterization packets, and choreography videos as resources to guide them during these times.
