Compensation: $50 travel stipend, eligible for college/ university credit

About Redline Theatre Company
Redline Theatre Company is a dynamic, emerging organization dedicated to cultivating artistry, community, and authenticity in the next generation of theatre makers. We develop original and reimagined works while fostering meaningful collaboration between professional artists and young performers.

Position Overview
The Stage Management Interns will work closely with the Production Staff to support the smooth and professional execution of Redline’s summer musical theatre camp and performances. This internship offers hands-on experience in rehearsal management, communication, and leadership within a fast-paced, creative environment.

Responsibilities

  • Attend and take detailed notes for all rehearsals, tech week, and performances

  • Assist the director and production staff with daily scheduling and rehearsal organization

  • Maintain communication between creative, technical, and administrative teams

  • Assist with costuming, lighting, and sound needs throughout the production

  • Prepare and distribute rehearsal reports and production updates

  • Oversee backstage operations during tech week and performances

  • Assist in creating a strike schedule and help lead volunteers during the strike

  • Participate in remote planning meetings between June 1–8 before in-person rehearsals with Redline Staff

Qualifications

  • Current college student or recent graduate with an interest in stage management, theatre production, or arts leadership

  • Strong organizational and communication skills

  • Professionalism, punctuality, and the ability to multitask in a collaborative setting

  • Previous experience in stage management or theatre production is preferred

By the end of the internship, participants will gain:

  • A comprehensive understanding of theatre management and collaboration

  • A portfolio-ready experience credit for future artistic and administrative pursuits
